Superb - and scarcely found! - example of a WH (LW) cuff-title ie. armband (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'General Göring' (being a hand-embroidered officers'- (ie. NCO-) pattern example that comes in a truly worn and/or tunic-removed, condition
This is a truly very attractive - and actually scarcely found! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) cuff-title ie. armband (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'General Göring' being a typical, hand-embroidered officers'- (ie. senior NCO-) pattern example that comes in a clearly issued- ie. worn- and/or period-shortened- ie. carefully tunic-removed-, condition. The armband comes - as stated above - in a just minimally shortened condition and was clearly used as such (ie. it measures folded now approximately 36,5 cms. in length). Both ends are unfinished (but were folded) as is more often encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). The armband - which originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered together with the HG-collar-tab-pair (nr. 67058) and HG-shoulderstrap-pair (nr. 67057) I offer on the web-site - shows moderate age, wear and or staining and was as such most certainly issued- and/or stored as such for decades: it still shows some of it stitching-remains with which it was once tunic-attached (as can be noticed on the pictures). The cuff-title is executed in darker-blue-coloured wool and shows the (very detailed!) hand-embroidered title in bright-silver-coloured 'braid' as is more often encountered: as such does it show the great crafmenship employed in the days. It deals with a typical example that was intended for mere officers'- and/or NCO-usage ie.: 'Ausführung für Offiziere u. Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe'. Simply a very attractive - and naturally genuine, period! - example that was issued to a member serving within a famous 'LW-unit' and that is priced according to its overall nicely preserved and/or fully untouched, condition!
