Superb - and fully matching! - pair of early-period (ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern and rounded-styled) WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', EM-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des (Pz)Schützen-Regiments 12'
This is a truly very attractive - fully matching and with certainty rarely found! - pair of early-period (ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern and/or rounded-styled) WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des (Pz)Schützen-Regiments 12' (or: simple 'Panzer'- ie. tank-soldier who served within the tank-gunners-regiment, numbered: '12') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn and/or carefully 'cut-off a tunic'-), condition. The neat straps - which are executed in the darker-green-coloured and 'smooth-type' wool - show the typical (woolen-based) bright-pink- (ie. rosaroter-) coloured piping attached and measure approximately 12 cms. in length each. The straps show the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'), Gothic-styled: 'S'-cyphers and/or: '1'- and/or '2'-numerals (or: 'Ziffern') attached (which are executed in the bright-pink- ie. 'rosatoter'-coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected). The straps - which are of the typical 'standard-issued'-pattern - show as stated above only moderate usage and wear (just some minimal age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). It should be noted that ALL 'cyphered', enlisted-mens'-pattern, 'Panzer'- (ie. 'Pz-Schützen'-) type shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'rare' and come not often for sale. In any case a very attractive and early-war-period, 'Heeres-Panzer'-related, EM-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des (Pz)Schützen-Regiments 12': I deem that I have priced this attractive pair according to its obvious rarity and/or desirability!
