Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M40-pattern) shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel einer Kavallerie- o. Aufklärungs-Abteilungs'
This is a truly attractive - and fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps having the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel einer Kavallerie- o. Aufklärungs-Abteilungs' (or: NCO ie. sergeant who served within a cavalry- ie. reconnaissance-related unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit minimally used ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11,6 cms. in length each - have the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdecks'. The straps - which have the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached - show the ('standard-issue'-pattern, silverish-coloured ie. typically non-'sub-dued') NCO-braid and a single (aluminium-based, regular-sized) pip each period-attached denoting that the NCO who wore this pair held the rank of a: 'Feldwebel' (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which came mounted onto their functional tongues - show as stated above some minimally usage and/or wear only (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). Simply an attractive and/or: early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel einer Kavallerie- o. Aufklärungs-Abteilungs' and that is I deem accordingly priced!
