Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M40-pattern) shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier eines Heeres Nachrichten-Abteilungs'
This is a truly attractive - and fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps having the neat bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier eines Heeres Nachrichten-Abteilungs' (or: junior-sergeant who served within an army-signals unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit minimally used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - have the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdecks'. The straps - which have the bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached - show the ('standard-issue'-pattern, silverish-coloured ie. typically non-'sub-dued') NCO-braid period-attached denoting that the NCO who wore this pair held the rank of an: 'Unteroffizier' (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which came mounted onto their functional tongues - show as stated above some minimally usage and/or wear only (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). Simply an attractive and/or: early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier eines Heeres Nachrichten-Abteilungs' and that is I deem accordingly priced!
