Attractive - fully untouched and moderately used and/or worn! - 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Kl.' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) being a clearly maker- (ie. '3'-) marked example as was produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Wilhelm Deumer'
This is an attractive - fully untouched and I deem just moderately worn- and/or used - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) being a detailed and clearly maker- (ie. '3'-) marked example as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Wilhelm Deumer' (ie. 'Hersteller 3' or: 'L/11') as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes as issued and/or recently found and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. surely issued and moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The magnetic cross has an overall nice age-patina and retains truly great detail: the black-coloured core shows no rust nor real damage: the satin-like (ie. minimally shiny), black-coloured painted core is nicely preserved and just shows some minimal paint-loss within the swastika-area (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross has lost, moreover, most of its 'off-factory applied' polished sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten'). The back of the cross is just a tiny bit stained (but was never cleaned nor polished). The (flute-shaped) pin and catch (ie. set-up) are naturally unaltered and/or fully functional. The cross is an evident (I deem fairly early-period!) specimen that was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Wilhelm Deumer' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid: it has very nice and/or pronounced detail as to be expected for a cross by this maker. Simply a very attractive - and fully untouched! - IC first class by the 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company and that was never before part of a collection: I deem that I have priced this attractive and untouched example, accordingly!
