Unusual - and typical zinc-based - (I deem) WH (Luftwaffe) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Platz Kdo. Kamp/Pom. L1' and that comes as issued and/or worn
This is a neat - and with certainty unusually seen! - example of a greyish-coloured- and/or typical zinc-based (I deem) WH (Luftwaffe) ie. 'Flieger'-related, 'standard-issue pattern'- and somewhat later-war-period, ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the (clearly!) stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Platz Kdo. Kamp/Pom. L1' (and as such being a disc that was - I deem - intended for a soldier or NCO who served at a specific airfield in Pommern) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn- and/or minimally stained-), condition. The attractive disc is in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (see pictures). The disc is void of a bearers'-blood-group-type something that is more often the case. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty) and comes as issued and/or worn (it shows some regrettably undecypherable text ie. name? on its back). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Luftwaffe) related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
