Aluminium-based, WH (Luftwaffe) ie. 'Artillerie'-related (and re-issued!) ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that reads: '1./LW. A.R. 19' (formerly: 'Ln.Kp. Jütland') and that comes as issued and worn
This is an attractive example of a silverish-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based (and neatly re-issued!), WH (Luftwaffe) ie. 'Artillerie'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that reads: '1./LW. A.R. 19' (formerly member within the: 'Ln.Kp. Jütland') and as such being a disc that was I deem intended for a soldier or NCO who - I deem - served within the: first company of the 'LW-Artillerie-Regiment', numbered: '19') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat torn-out holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc is void of the bearers'-blood-group-type something that is more often observed. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact the soldier who initially wore this ID-disc served within a LW-signals-unit (being the: 'Ln.Kp. Jütland'): when he was transferred from the unit he kept his old ID-disc which was additionally stamped with his new unit on the back (something that is at least unusually seen!) Simply an attractive and honest WH (Luftwaffe) ie. 'Artillerie'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
