Attractive - and rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres o. Luftwaffe) general-officers'-pattern side-cap-cocarde (ie. 'Mützenkokarde für Generals-Offiziers-Schiffchen') that comes in a simply never used- (ie. 'virtually mint ie. unissued'), condition

This is a very attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - example of a WH (Heeres o. Luftwaffe) general-officers'-pattern side-cap-cocarde (ie. 'Mützenkokarde für Generals-Offiziers-Schiffchen') that comes in an overall very nice- ie. simply never used- (ie. I deem 'virtually mint ie. unissued'-), condition. It should be noted that these neat general-officers'-pattern side-cap- (ie. 'Schiffchen'-) insignia-pieces are very hard to encounter (and come actually hardly ever for sale). The piece on offer here is neatly executed in multi-coloured 'braid' and shows a (black-coloured- and/or typical linnen-based) 'backing' in place (as is more often seen). The piece was simply never side-cap-attached and shows some minimal dust and/or tarnish, simply caused by decades of storage only. The quality of the used embroidery is truly stunning: the piece is quite thick and pronounced in execution and can as such easily be graded as a piece of the 'Extra Qualität'. The piece shows a black-coloured- (and or typical 'braid'-based) 'outer-rim' and additional bright-golden-toned piping (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a great occasion to acquire a neat - and extremely hard to find! - replacement-item that is ideally fitted to restore any quality-produced, general-officers'-type WH-officers-type side-cap (ie. 'Schiffchen für Generale')!
