Attractive - fully matching and just minimally worn! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) bright-red-piped, EM- (ie. NCO-) type collar-patches (ie. 'Kragenspiegel') as was intended for usage by a member within one of the units of the: 'Hermann Göring-Division'
The neat - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - WH (Luftwaffe) collar-patch-pair (ie. 'Kragenspiegelsatz für Mannschaften und Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe') is executed in the typical white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or smooth- (ie. 'felt-like'-type-) wool and is additionally 'piped' with bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured (and/or: typical rayon-type) piping as is more often encountered with these HG-related collar-tabs (as can be seen on the pictures). The patches were most certainly issued and (I deem) minimally worn ie. once tunic-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Both tabs show three (fully identical, three-pronged and/or: zinc-based) silver-greyish-coloured gulls (ie. wings or: 'Schwingen') period-attached and are both nicely 'backed' with the beige-yellow-coloured- (and/or buckram-based) material as more often encountered. Both tabs are piped with the (typical) bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter') coloured and/or rayon-based piping (something that most certainly denoted 'Artillerie'-usage). The pair does show some minimal wear and/or storage-age (as can be noticed on the pictures). This neat - and very nicely preserved! - 'Kragenspiegel'-pair was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. It should be noted that these genuine, 'HG-Division'-related LW-collar-tabs can be easily graded 'fairly scarce'!
