This is a neat - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type, hand-embroidered collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere') as was piped in the typical golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener') coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Offizier der Kavallerie o. Aufklärungs-Truppen' (or: officer who served within a cavalry- or reconnaisance unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem issued- albeit never used- nor worn- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The pair - which is void of an additional 'backing' as more often (as can be seen on the pictures) - shows extraordinary hand-embroidery and just shows some minimal age ie. staining (and minimal corrosion) as can be noticed on the pictures. It should be mentioned that these golden-yellow-piped, 'Heeres'-type, 'Kragenspiegel der Kavallerie o. Aufklärungs-Truppen' are actually quite hard to come by and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'.
