This is a truly very attractive - and with certainty fairly rarely seen and totally undamaged- and/or untouched! - example of a bright golden-toned (and nicely enamelled!) so-called: 'Mitgliedsabzeichen o. Allgemeines-Dienstabzeichen der Deutsche Lufhansa o. DLH' being a nicely preserved example that is showing a unique, engraved serial-number ( that reads: '4453') on its back and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used and/or worn-), condition. The very attractive lapel-pin shows a detailed (and pronounced!) eagle-device above the (blue-enamelled) 'Lufthansa'-logo (as can be noticed on the pictures). The neat badge originates from a German private-household and is just a bit dirty and shows some age and/or wear. The piece - which has an approximate height of only 2,2 cms. - shows a clear, engraved serial-number on its back (that reads: '4453') but is totally void of a makers'-designation or alike (as is more often encountered) - and has truly a nicely-preserved age-patina which is completely void of any damage: it is just a bit tarnished and darkened by age. The pin comes mounted onto its typical 'button-hole'-set-up. Of interest is, moreover, the fact that this example is of the first pattern that was worn in the period 1933 upto 1937 (something that can be easily deducted from the right-facing eagles'-head (as can be noticed on the pictures). A similar example is also described in the 'Heering-Hüsken' lapel-pin-catalogue wherein it is given a unique reference-number (2607BA). Simply a very attractive example of this fairly rarely seen so-called: 'Mitgliedsabzeichen o. Allgemeines-Dienstabzeichen der Deutsche Lufhansa (o. DLH)': just the first such rare lapel-pin I ever had on offer!
