Stunning - fully matching and actually extremely rarely encountered! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel') as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Flieger-Hauptstabsingenieur' (being a rank similar to: 'Oberst')
This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually extremely rarely encountered! - pair of neatly hand-embroidered, WH (Luftwaffe) collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere des Ingenieurskorps der Luftwaffe') as was executed on a (typical) bright-pink-coloured background as was specifically intended for usage by an officer ie. engineer holding the (very high-placed!) rank of a: 'Flieger-Hauptstabsingenieur' (being a rank similar to: 'Oberst' or full colonel) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem simply never used- nor tunic-attached-), condition. The tabs are executed in the neat smooth- (ie. 'moleskin'-like-) wool and have truly extraordinary detail: the shown craftmanship is simply stunning (as can be noticed on the pictures). The backing of both tabs is constructed of beige-white-coloured, so-called 'buckram'-based cloth (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows some minimal age- ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage only (as can be seen on the pictures). These bright pink-coloured, higher-ranked LW-collar-tab-pairs as intended for senior-staffmembers of the 'Ingenieurkorps der Luftwaffe' are truly very hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'extremely rare'. Simply a very attractive collar-tab-pair that belonged to a: 'Flieger-Hauptstabsingenieur' (being a rank similar to: 'Oberst'): just the first such pair in this particular rank I ever had on offer!
