Neat - regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres) later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. 'M44-'-pattern-) EM-type shoulderstrap as was intended for (and used by!) a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen'
The attractive - and with certainty not that easily found! - WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap shows the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or: typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached and measures approximately 10,5 cms. in length and is clearly of the simplified. so-called: 'last-ditch'- (ie. 'M44'-) pattern. The shoulderstrap is constructed from the (typical) field-grey-toned, later-war-type wool and comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue (as can be noticed on the pictures). The strap just shows some minimal age ie. wear and was clearly used and/or worn as such. It should be noted that these white-piped- (thus 'Infanterie'-related) and/or later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. 'M44'-pattern-) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps are quite desirable and can easily be graded 'scarce' even more so when they come in such a nicely preserved condition as the strap on offer here!
