Attractive, Waffen-SS - so-called: 'RzM-styled' - enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type collar-tab as was intended for usage by soldiers ie. NCOs of the: '22. SS-Freiwilligen-Kavallerie-Division' (ie. sometimes referred to as: "Maria Theresa")
This is a truly attractive example of a Waffen-SS so-called: 'RzM-styled', enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type collar-tab depicting the famous 'Edelweiss'-flower insignia, as was specifically intended for usage by soldiers ie. NCOs of the: '22. SS-Freiwilligen-Kavallerie-Division' (ie. sometimes referred to as: "Maria Theresia") and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint ie. unissued' and/or never tunic-attached-), condition. This collar-tab is one of the more scarcely seen tabs of the series and is as stated never been used nor worn (it originated with certainty from the Dachau clothing-depots and originates from the USA where it was stored for decades as a so-called: 'veteran bring-back'-item). The collar-tab - which is excuted in greyish-white-coloured linnen on a black-coloured and/or woolen- (ie. 'smooth'-type ie. 'moleskin'-based-) background - has a 'standard'-pattern- and/or brownish-coloured- and/or 'buckram'-based backing (and does show the greyish-white-coloured stitching on its back) as is more often encountered. This collar-tab is a 100% text-book- (and as stated above) original example that originates from a US-veteran who 'liberated' this piece in the Dachau clothing-depots in 1945. Simply a 100% garuanteed original SS collar-tab: hard to find a more attractive example for a more interesting price!
