Single-pieced, typical woolen-based- and black-coloured EM- (ie. NCO-) type shoulderboard ie. so-called: 'Allgemeine-SS Schulterklappe für einen SS-Mann bis SS-Hauptscharführer'
This is an attractive - and just moderately used- ie. worn! - example of a single-pieced EM ie. NCO-type shoulderboard (ie. so-called: 'Allgemeine-SS Schulterklappe für einen SS-Mann bis SS-Hauptscharführer') being an example that was used on either the black-coloured service-tunics or brownish-coloured shirts (ie. 'Ausführung für den schwarzen Dienstrock bzw. das Braunhemd') and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem only moderately used- ie. worn- and/or tunic-removed-), condition. The neat board measures approximately 13,3 cms. in length and shows an 'upperdeck' that is constructed from silver- and black-coloured- (ie. 'twisted') braid as to be expected. The piece on offer was - I deem - only moderately used and does show some age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should also be noted that these attractive boards saw also usage on the black service-tunics that were worn by the members within the 'foreign' so-called: 'Allgemeine' SS-units in both Norway, Belgium and the Netherlands. The piece on offer here came with a silver-toned, pebbled-styled tunic-button attached (which button shows a makers'- ie. date-designation that reads: 'ZS - 38' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a neat - and actually not that often encountered! - example that is with certainty accordingly priced!
