Attractive, WWI- (ie. Third Reich-) period so-called: 'Doppelspange' (being of the partly non-'detachable-pattern') showing resp. a: 'KvK II. Klasse ohne Schwertern' and a: 'FKK 1914-18 mit Schw.' and that comes as recently found

This is an attractive - and I deem just moderately used- and/or worn! - example of a WWI- (ie. Third Reich-) period, so-called: 'Doppelspange' (ie. 'Doppelspange') being of the partly non-'detachable-pattern' and that is respectively showing a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class without swords) and a WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 mit Schw.') and that comes as issued, moderately worn and/or recently found. The 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwertern' is executed in typical 'Buntmetall'-based metal and retains an attractive and just minimally 'tarnished' age-patina and has never been cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. Truly almost all of its (as stated minimally 'tarnished') golden-bronze-coloured finish has been very nicely preserved, giving the medal a very nice and/or detailed appearance. The FKK 1914-18 shows a clearly present makers'-designation on its back (that reads: 'G 5' as can be noticed on the pictures). The detail on this award is also nicely preserved but it does show some tarnished age-patina and some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Both awards - which show their nicely preserved, period ribbons - come both (partly) 'period-mounted' onto a metal-based 'clasp' that is 'backed' with field-grey-coloured wool (and that shows a functional pin- ie. catch-set-up) as was intended for wearing this example on a 'going-out'- ie. dress-tunic or 'Waffenrock'. Simply an attractive WWI- ie. TR-period, 'Doppelspange' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
