I recently uncovered three attractive - and fully indentical! - bright-silver-toned- (and typical aluminium-based!) examples of the W.H.W.- (ie. 'Winterhilfswerke'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as was issued to commemorate a: 'WHW'-gathering ie. rally entitled: 'Tag der Wehrmacht - 19 März 1939' and that come all three in an overall nice- (I deem simply never worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced typical circular-shaped badges - which are executed in bright-silver-toned metal (ie. aluminium) and having an approximate diameter of 3,2 cms. - show extraordinary detail and were with certainly never cleaned nor polished (they are just minimally stained- ie. dirty caused by decades of storage and/or handling). The pieces show a side-view of a German soldier with steel-helmet and bayonet surrounded by the above-mentioned text. The badges comes naturally mounted on their (functional) pin- ie. catch set-up. My asking-price is naturally intended per single specimen. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive W.H.W.- (ie. 'Tag der Wehrmacht'-) related 'tinnie' for a justified price!
