Superb - fully untouched and hardly ie. never used nor worn! - 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Kl.' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) being a maker- (ie. '100'-) marked example as was produced by the maker (ie. This is a truly very attractive - fully untouched and I deem hardly ie. simply never worn- nor used! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) being a detailed and clearly maker- (ie. '100'-) marked example as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Rudolf Wächtler & Lange' as was based in the town of Mittwaida in Sachsen and that comes as issued and/or recently found and that comes in an overall very nice- (surely issued albeit hardly used- nor worn-), condition. The magnetic cross has an overall nice age-patina and retains truly great pronounced detail: the black-coloured core shows simply no rust nor damage: the satin-like (ie. minimally shiny), black-coloured painted core is very nicely preserved and is void of any paint-loss (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross maintains, moreover, all of its 'off-factory applied' polished sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten'). The back of the cross is just a tiny bit stained (but was never cleaned nor polished). The (flute-shaped) pin (that shows the makers'-designation '100' on its back) and catch (ie. set-up) are naturally unaltered and/or fully functional. The cross is an evident specimen that was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Rudolf Wächtler & Lange' as was based in the town of Mittwaida in Sachsen: it has very nice and/or pronounced detail as to be expected for a cross by this maker. Simply a very attractive - and fully untouched! - IC first class by the 'Rudolf Wächtler & Lange'-company and that was never before part of a collection: I deem that I have priced this attractive and fully untouched example, accordingly!
