This is a truly attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - 'standard-issued'-type black-coloured and/or typical carton- (ie. 'Ersatz'-) based (equipment)belt, being an approx. 95 cms. long-sized example that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The belt shows a (typically) formed, larger-sized 'attachment-hook' attached (which shows some rust-stains ie. 'Flugrost' - as can be seen on the pictures). The piece which is as stated approximately 95 cms. sized in length is simply never issued nor used and was found as stored as such for decades (it still shows some staining ie. dust). The belt has a genuine leather-based 'tongue' attached as more often. These carton- (ie. 'Ersatz'-) based (equipment)belts saw wide-spread usage in the later war-years and were (for example) used by the members of the HJ/DJ (ie. 'Hitlerjugend' ie. 'Deutsches Jungvolk'). The belt was simply never used and comes in a superb - and of course still fully functional - condition. Simpy a great equipment- item: only the second such neat item I ever had on offer!
