Superb, DAF- (ie. 'Deutsche Arbeitsfront'-) lapel-pin (ie. 'Abzeichen für DAF-Frauenwalterinnen') being a (broad-shaped!) silver-rimmed example as intended for a: 'Kreis-Frauenwalterin' showing an: 'RzM M1/13'-makers'-designation
This particular enamelled lapel-pin was intended to signify membership within the: 'DAF Frauenamt' (which TR-organisation concerned itself with all aspects of womens'-work). Unlike their male counterparts, did these female 'DAF-Frauenwalterinnen' (ie. officials) not wear a uniform and could be merely indentified by a badge ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen' as offered here. The example on offer here concerns (broad-shaped) silver-rimmed example (of the second pattern that was used after 1938) as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Frauenwalterin' that acted on a: 'Kreis'-level (as can be seen on the pictures). The lapel-pin comes in an overall very nice and only moderately used- ie. worn, condition: the enamelled surface simply shows no enamel damage whatsoever. The attractive - and actually rarely found! - badge shows a clearly present: 'RzM M1/13'-designation on its back (as can be seen on the pictures). A similar piece is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken'-lapel-pin-catalogue wherein it is given a unique reference-number ('3001PA') and is given an estimated value of 275 Eu. Simply a very attractive and neatly enamelled so-called: 'Kreis-Frauenwalterin-Abzeichen' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
