This is a neat - albeit non-matching but most certainly used as such - set of WH (Heeres): 'DAK' (ie. 'Deutsches Afrikakorps') aluminium-based, so-called: 'pith-helmet'-shields (of which just the eagle-shield is neatly maker- ie. 'J.R.&S.'-marked) and that come both in an overall very fine- ie. just moderately used, condition. Both - detailed and/or pronounced! - pieces retain their three original (and/or also aluminium-based and/or quite fragile!) pins in place (which are coming in a once bent condition but that are still fully functional as can be seen on the pictures). The painted areas of both shields do retain almost all of their original colour (as can be seen on the pictures). Actually, are these genuine pith-helmet shield-sets - having all their original and/or undamaged prongs in place - not that easily encountered: even more so when they are executed in detailed aluminium-based metal. Simply a nice opportunity to acquire an original (and just minimally used!) 'DAK' (ie. 'Afrikakorps') so-called 'pith-helmet'-shield-set for a competitive price!
