Superb - and/or fully matching! - pair of typical later-war-period- (ie. 'M44'-pattern) WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier eines Panzer-Grenadier-Rgts. o. Abts.' This is a truly attractive - and as such actually scarcely encountered! - fully matching pair of (typical) later-war-period- (ie. 'M44'-pattern) WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the neat bright-green- (ie. 'hellgrüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier eines Panzergrenadier-Regiments. o. Abteilungs' (or: junior-sergeant who served within an army infantry-related rifle-unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued albeit just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which each measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length as more often - have the 'standard-pattern'- and/or typical, field-grey-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' (which are executed in so-called: Italian wool aka 'drap Orti') come naturally mounted onto their original (and typically simplified!) tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was just minimally worn and comes as found and/or stored for decades. The shoulderstraps - which show the neat and desirable, bright-green- (ie. 'hellgrüner'-) coloured and/or typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached - show the bluish-grey-coloured (ie. clearly 'sub-dued') NCO-braid period-attached denoting that the NCO who wore these straps held the rank of: 'Unteroffizier'. Simply an attractive pair of truly later-war-period so-called: 'M44-pattern'-shoulderstraps as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier eines Panzergrenadier-Regiments. o. Abteilungs': with certainty one of the most attractive 'M44'-pattern, 'Panzer-Grenadiere'-related NCO-shoulderstrap-pairs I had on offer for quite some time!
