Neatly enamelled - and scarely found! - bright-orange-coloured, 'Reichsarbeitsdienst'- (ie. RAD-) related: 'Mitglieds- o. Zivil-Abzeichen' being a patent-pending- (ie. 'Ges.Gesch.'- & 'HA'-) marked example that shows the text: 'Arbeitsdank'
This is an attractive 'Reichsarbeitsdienst'- (ie. RAD-) related, colourful (ie. bright-orange!) enamelled, so-called: 'Mitglieds- o. Zivil-Abzeichen' (or: civil membership-lapel-pin) being an attractive and clearly patent-pending- (ie. 'Ges.Gesch.'-) and/or maker- (ie. 'HA'-) marked example that shows the text: 'Arbeitsdank' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The detailed lapel-pin is made-out of (bright!) golden-toned, so-called: 'Buntmetall' and truly retains an immaculate enamelled surface and/or golden-toned finish (no damages are noticable). The badge bears a: 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending-mark on its back but also shows the makers-designation: 'Hermann Aurich' on the pin-/catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge is definitely issued and was I deem minimally worn: it is void of any enamel damage: it has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished and still has a neat, somewhat 'darkened' age-patina. It should presumably be known that these bright-orange-coloured 'Arbeitsdank'-lapel-pin were supposedly awarded for double-served RAD-service-time (being the reason why they are much harder to find than their darker-red-coloured counterparts). The pin - which has a functional pin/catch set-up in place as to be expected - is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given the unique reference-number: 3801B. Simply a nicely preserved RAD-related so-called: 'Arbeitsdank-Abzeichen' that is accordingly priced!
