Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-) war-period, 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (pointed-styled- and 'cyphered') so-called: EM-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 62'
This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-) war-period, 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (pointed-styled- and neatly 'cyphered') enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps (being a pair having no branchcolour ie. piping as per regulation) as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 26' (or: simple soldier who served within the army-infantry-regiment, numbered: '62') and that comes in overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 11,7 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: dark-green-coloured- and woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above no piping nor branchcolour attached: they are of the 'generic pattern' (as can be seen on the pictures). Moreover, do they show the neat, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or neatly machine-embroidered: '6'- and '2'-numerals (which are executed in so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' as to be expected). The pair comes mounted onto its original tongues and does just show some truly minimal age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the inside of both tongues shows the printed numeral '8' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a neat - and I deem quite early- (ie. pre- or early-war-) period - 'Heeres' EM-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 62': I deem that I have priced this attractive - and with certainty desirable! - pair, accordingly!
