Attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - HJ ('Hitlerjugend') related 'tinnie' being a maker- (ie. 'Paulmann & Crone'-) marked example showing the text: 'Schlageter HJ-Gebiets-Jugendtag - Düsseldorf - 28.5.1933'
The attractive golden-bronze-toned badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is (I deem) executed in copper-coloured (and I deem) so-called tin-based- (ie. pot-) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has presumably never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, somewhat tarnished age-patina). The badge comes mounted onto its functional pin-/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains a fair bit of its darker-toned, golden-bronze-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a ('Schlageter'-related-) cross with behind it a swastika-sign with above the 'Reichsadler' and below that the text: '28.5.1933 - HJ-Gebiets-Jugendtag - Düsseldorf'. The piece - which is executed in copper- (ie. bronze-) toned 'pot-metal' - comes naturally mounted on its functional pin/catch set-up and has a nice somewhat sub-dued age-patina. The tinnie bears a neat makers'-designation on the back (of the swastika) that simply reads: 'Paulmann & Crone - Lüdenscheid'. Simply an attractive - and actually not often encountered! - 'youth-related' tinnie that is I deem accordingly priced!
