Superb - fully matching and hardly used! - pair of later-war-period, WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M44'-styled, 'simplified', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Soldat eines Gebirgsjäger- o. Jäger-Regiments'
This is a very attractive - fully matching and I deem hardly used! - pair of (typical) later-war-period, WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M44'-styled, 'simplified', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as was piped in the neat green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and I deem minimally used by! - a: 'Soldat eines Gebirgsjäger- o. Jäger-Regiments' (who served within an army mountain-troops-regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. hardly used- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The straps - which are approximately 11 cms. sized in length each as more often - have the 'standard-pattern'- and/or typical, field-grey-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' (which are executed in so-called: Italian wool aka 'drap Orti') and/or typical tongues and do show the neat green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured and/or: 'silk-like'-type branchcolour (ie. piping) attached. The straps are constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner' using different shades of wool and/or material (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show some minimal age, wear and/or staining simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage. It should be noted that all 'M44'-style, EM-pattern shoulderstraps are actually quite hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the seldomely seen green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as the pair on offer here! Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive - and fully 'text-book'! - M44-styled, enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap-pair as was intended for usage by 'Soldat eines Gebirgsjäger- o. Jäger-Regiments': great to complete any later-war M44- (ie. even M43-) model 'Heeres'-tunic!
