This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty fairly scarcely encountered - pair of WH (Luftwaffe), early- (ie. pre-war-) period, 'M36 o. M40'-pattern- (ie. rounded-styled) 'cyphered' shoulderstraps as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured piping, as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unterwachtmeister des Flak-Artillerie-Regiments 12' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the anti-aircraft-artillery-regiment ie. unit numbered: '12') and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem just minimally used ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The straps - which measure both approximately 11,3 cms. in length - have the 'standard'-pattern- and/or bluish-coloured, smooth-woolen-based (ie. officers-type!) 'upperdecks' and have the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached. The shoulderstraps shows the neat (hand-embroidered!) '12'-numerals (ie. cyphers or 'Ziffern') attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Both 'cyphers' are executed in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected. The straps - which never had any tongues and that show the 'standard-issued'-pattern, silver-coloured (dotted-pattern!) NCO-braid attached - show as stated above only minimal usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is however visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered', 'Flak-Artillerie'-related NCO-type shoulderstraps are very desirable and can easily be regarded 'scarce', even more so when they come in such a very nicely preserved condition. Simply an attractive, early- ie. pre-war-period, neatly 'cyphered Luftwaffe' shoulderstrap-pair that was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unterwachtmeister des Flak-Artillerie-Regiments 12' which is I deem priced according to its obvious desirability and/or scarcity!
