Neat membership-badge (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') as was intended to signify membership within the: 'Nationalsocialistischer Reichsverband der deutschen Arbeitsopfer (NSAO)', being a maker- (ie. 'Deschler'-) marked example
This particular - and neatly detailed- and/or pronounced! - TR-period membership-badge (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') was intended to signify membership within the so-called: 'Nationalsocialistischer Reichsverband der deutschen Arbeitsopfer (NSAO)' and has an approximate height of 28 mm. (as can be seen on the pictures). The pin - that comes mounted onto its functional, pin- ie. pin-catch set-up - comes in an overall nice and I deem only slightly used- ie. worn-, condition: the piece is (I deem) executed in (tarnished) golden-bronze-coloured 'Buntmetall' and has been nicely preserved: it is just a bit darkened (ie. stained) due to regular age but has never been cleaned nor polished. The badge shows a clear makers'-mark on its back (that reads: 'Deschler - München') and also shows a clear 'Gesch.Ges.'-patent-pending marking on its back as is more often seen (as can be noticed on the pictures). An similar piece is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken'-lapel-pin-catalogue wherein it is given a unique reference-number (ie. '5503A') and an estimated value of 75 Eu. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that commonly encountered! - TR-period 'Mitgliedsabzeichen' that is I deem accordingly priced!
