This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty not that easily found! - pair of 'standard-issue'-pattern', neatly hand-embroidered officers'-type collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere') as was piped in the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Offizier eines Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Regiments' (or: officer who served within an army mountaintroopers'-unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just moderately worn- and most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The darker-green-piped pair - which is as more often 'backed' with beige-coloured, buckram-based material- is neatly hand-embroidered in silverish-coloured 'braid' (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was clearly worn and once tunic-attached: it was carefully tunic-removed and shows some moderate age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair does show minimal usage and wear as can be noticed on the pictures: moreover, does it show some clear stitching-remains (as can be seen on the pictures). This collar-tab-pair belonged to an (unnamed): 'Jäger o. Gebirgsjäger-Offizier' and was found together with the hand-embroidered breast-eagle I offer under number: 66693: both items were stored for decades as 'souvenir-items from the war'. Simply a very attractive collar-tab-pair that was intended for an: an: 'Offizier eines Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Regiments' and that is I deem accordingly priced!
