Very nice - and scarely encountered! - 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'-related, golden-yellow-coloured and/or typical linnen-based armband (ie. 'Armbinde') as executed in 'BeVo'-weave-pattern entitled: 'Bahnhofswache'
This is an attractive - and actually quite scarcely encountered! - typically 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'-related, golden-yellow-coloured and/or linnen-based armband (ie. 'Armbinde') as executed in 'BeVo'-weave-pattern that is entitled: 'Bahnhofswache' (or: railway-station guard) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. These golden-yellow coloured- and/or linnen-based armbands were used by all staff-members of the German armed forces (ie. 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' including the Waffen-SS!) who were tasked 'to patrol and/or control the various troop-movements on railway-stations and alike'. The armband on offer here - that shows some obvious staining and that shows a minimally wrinkled appearance - is nicely woven in a technique similar to the famous 'BeVo'-weave technique and measures (folded) approximately 37 x 10 cms. Simply an attractive - and fairly scarcely encountered! - 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'-related service-armband that is accordingly priced!
