Very unusual, golden-bronze-toned: 'Polizei'- (ie. police-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate the: 'Polizei-Sportfest - Braunschweig - Gautag - August 1939'

This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often seen! - golden-bronze-toned- (and I deem typical aluminium-based) so-called: 'Polizei'- (ie. police-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate a sports'-related event named the: 'Polizei-Sportfest - Braunschweig - Gautag - August 1939' and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved, condition. This peculiar-shaped day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in somewhat shiny, golden-bronze-toned metal and shows shows a (detailed!) 'Polizei'- (ie. police-) eagle-device, lion and text that reads: 'Polizei-Sportfest - Braunschweig - Gautag - August 1939'. The day-badge shows a clearly present makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'Paulmann & Crone - Lüdenscheid' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece comes in an overall very nice (albeit I deem issued and/or minimally worn-), condition: it shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (some minimal staining is, however, present and visible as can be seen on the pictures). It comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin-ie. pin/catch set-up. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that often encountered! - 'Polizei'-related 'tinnie' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
