The very attractive - luxuriously-styled and with certainty scarcely found! - day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in silverish-toned- and (I deem) silvered 'Buntmetall'-based metal depicts a detailed eagle-device resting on a swastika coupled with the text: 'SA-Brigade 42 - Jena - 8. April 1934' and that was as such intended for a specific (regional!) SA-related gathering that was held in the town of Jena in April 1934. The 'hollow-back'-pattern badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin-catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' - that shows a clear and super-imposed makers'-designation: 'Wernstein - Jena' on its back - retains truly almost all of its (somewhat 'shiny') silver-coloured finish. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and with certainty very scarcely encountered! - so-called: SA-related 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for a justified price!
