Stunning - and truly rarely found! - bright-golden-toned 'Reichsarbeitsdienst'- (ie. RAD-) general-officers'-type belt-buckle being a maker- (ie. 'OLC'-) marked example that comes in a never used- (ie. still 'virtually mint-/unissued') condition
The truly very attractive - rarely found and I deem simply never used- nor worn ie. still 'virtually mint'! - example of a bright-golden-toned- and/or (typical) aluminium-based: 'Reichsarbeitsdienst'- (ie. RAD-) general-officers'-type belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Generale des Reichs Arbeitsdienstes') being a clearly maker- (ie. 'OLC'- and/or: 'Ges.Gesch. ') marked example that comes in a simply never used- (ie. still 'virtually mint'-) condition. The buckle - which shows a super-imposed makers'-designation (that reads: 'OLC' and that is thus produced by the: 'Overhoff & Cie - Lüdenscheid') on its back as more often - truly retains all of its bright-golden-toned- (ie. typical 'feuervergoldetes') finish and just shows some minimal handling- and/or storage-age simply caused by having been stored as such for decades. The neat piece - that also shows a 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending designation - is of a typical 'molded-aluminium' and/or 'dual-pieced construction' and is very nicely executed and shows a regular-pattern 'Reichsarbeitsdienst'-device (ie. the spade with swastika-device). The neat buckle - that can easily be graded 'virtually mint' - orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over several years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. I deem that I have priced this very attractive - and simply never worn! - 'Koppelschloss für Generale des Reichs Arbeitsdienstes', accordingly!
