Superb - and truly scarcely seen! - WH (Luftwaffe) enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) pattern, summer-shirt breast-eagle as was specifically intended for usage on the bluish-grey- (ie. 'blaumelliertes') summer-shirts (ie. 'Hemden')

This is a truly attractive - and actually scarcely seen and very hard to find! - WH (Luftwaffe) enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) pattern so-called: summer-shirt breast-eagle as was specifically intended for usage on the bluish-grey- (ie. 'blaumelliertes') summer-shirts (ie. 'Hemden') and that comes in a clearly issued- and used and carefully shirt-removed-, condition. The neat breast-eagle - which measures approximately 8,5 cms. from wing-tip to wing-tip - was carefully folded and trimmed: it was with certainty once shirt-attached and still shows some of its thread- and/or stitching-remains (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece comes in a wonderful ie. undamaged condition and just shows some moderate age and/or staining. It should be noted that these 'blaumellierter' summer-shirt breast-eagles can easily be regarded 'very scarce' and are not often offered for sale: I deem that this attractive example is accordingly priced!
