Superb, linnen-based- (and/or semi-'BeVo'-woven!) golden-yellow-coloured armband (ie. 'Armbinde') depicting 3 black 'dots' and IC as was intended for war-blinded staff-members of the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' (ie. 'Kriegsblinden')
This is an attractive - and actually quite rarely encountered! - linnen-based- (and/or semi-'BeVo'-woven), golden-yellow-coloured armband (ie. 'Armbinde') depicting 3 black 'dots' and an iron-cross-symbol as was specifically intended for usage by war-blinded staff-members of the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' (ie. 'Kriegsblinden') and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued- and/or clearly worn-), condition. The armband on offer here measures approximately 42 x 10,5 cms. and is executed in typical linnen (showing the nicely 'BeVo'-woven black-coloured 'dots' and IC as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows some minimal staining ie. dust simply caused by moderate wear and/or decades of storage (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece on offer here is of the WWII-period-pattern (as was introduced in 1941). Moreover, does the piece bear three red-coloured ink-stamps (ie. 'Dienstsiegel') which read something like: 'Prothesenstelle Linz' or alike (as can be noticed on the pictures). I deem that I have priced this interesting and rarely seen, semi-'BeVo'-woven related example, accordingly!
