Superb - fully matching and truly very scarcely seen! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M36- o. M40'-pattern) shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines Gebirgsjäger- o. Jäger-Regiments'
This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually truly scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) pre- (ie. early-) war-period (rounded-styled) so-called: 'M36- o. M40'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel eines Gebirgsjäger- o. Jäger-Regiments' (or: sergeant who served within an army mountain-troops-regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The regular-sized shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11,7 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured and (smooth)woolen-based 'upperdecks'. The straps - which have the the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured- and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached came mounted onto their functional tongues and do show as stated above just moderate usage and/or wear (one of the straps shows some moth-damage and both straps show some minor staining and/or dust: they also seem to hold two matching zinc-based pips that have been period 'fortified' by thread). It should be noted that all 'Gebirgsjäger o. Jäger'-related, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'very scarce'. Simply an attractive and/or: pre- (ie. early-) war-period, 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines Gebirgsjäger- o. Jäger-Regiments'!
