Attractive - and scarcely found! - larger-sized, multi-coloured- and/or neatly enamelled DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz') visor-cap badge of the rarely seen first-pattern (or: 'Mützenabzeichen für Schirmmütze')
This is a larger-sized (ie. 3 x 1,9 cms. sized-), multi-coloured and/or enamelled (first pattern!) DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz') visor-cap badge (or: 'Mützenabzeichen für Schirmmütze') that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used and/or once cap-removed-), condition. The piece is not maker-marked but does show a clearly present: 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending-marking on its back and comes with both its (functional albeit once folded-) prongs in place. The piece has stunning (and totally undamaged!) enamel and was never cleaned nor polished and is somewhat stained ie. tarnished. Simply a nice and desirable early-pattern 'DRK'-item: great to complete any 'DRK-Schirmmütze'!
