Superb, WH (Heeres- ie. Waffen-SS) so-called: 'Kraftfahrbewährungs-Abzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class drivers' proficiency-badge) that comes mounted onto its piece of field-grey-coloured wool and that comes as issued- but never worn, condition
The neat - and most certainly very detailed! - arm-badge (ie. WH 'Kraftfahrbewährungs-Abzeichen in Silber' or: silver-class drivers' proficiency-badge) retains both its original prongs and also retains its period, metal-based 'back-plate' in place as is more often encountered: it was never cleaned and truly retains most of its somewhat tarnished, greyish-silver-toned surface (as can be seen on the pictures). As stated above, was this nicely pronounced (and non-magnetic- ie. I deem zinc-based) arm-badge presumably issued but simply never worn: it was period-mounted onto a (field-grey-coloured) piece of wool and still retains its (fully preserved) beige-toned backing-paper in place (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very attractive example of a WH (Heeres- ie. Waffen-SS) so-called: 'Kraftfahrbewährungs-Abzeichen in Silber' that will be hard to be upgraded!
