Interesting medal-set: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal) being a non-maker-marked- (and/or: typical 'Buntmetall'-based) specimen that came mounted onto its (scarcely seen!) Austrian-styled and trapezoid-folded ribbon
This is an attractive - very nicely preserved albeit I deem minimally used! - medal-set: a 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal) being a non-maker-marked- (and/or: typical 'Buntmetall'-based) specimen that came mounted onto its (scarcely seen!) Austrian-styled and trapezoid-folded ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem issued- and/or moderately worn-), condition. The award was presumably issued but hardly (ie. never) worn nor used: it has an attractive, somewhat darker-toned, golden-bronze-coloured age-patina and was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. The piece is just a bit tarnished and stained but was never cleaned (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive- and unusually encountered example of a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal) that will be hard to be upgraded!
