Superb - and fully matching! - pair of so-called: 'M44'-pattern, WH (Heeres) EM-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Soldat des Panzergrenadier-Regiments 15' and that comes with its period-attached 'Überschübe'-pair

The truly very attractive - and fairly scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens -type shoulderstrap-pair is of the (typical) later-war-period, simplified (ie. 'M44'-) pattern and does show only minimal age, wear and/or minimal staining. The pair has the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and does show the neat bright-green- (ie. 'wiesengrüner'-) coloured branchcolour and desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps - which are fully matching in all details - come mounted onto their original tongues and were with certainty pieces that were used as a pair on a 'front-type'-tunic. The pair - which measures approximately 12,1 cms. in length - was used by a simple soldier who was attached to the: 'Panzergrenadier-Regimens 15' (or: infantry-related, rifle-regiment, numbered: '15'). The pair originated from an older shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired and came with a neat (and also matching!) pair of 'Überschübe' (ie. slip-ons or: 'Laschen') period-attached: these show the 'wiesengrüner'-coloured '15'-numerals (which are executed in so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' as to be expected). It should, moreover, be noted that these 'standard-issued'- ie. 'M44'-pattern 'Pz-Gren.'-related shoulderstraps are quite difficult to encounter. Simply, a superb pair of later-war-period, EM-type shoulderstraps as was intended for 'Soldat des Panzergrenadier-Regiments 15' and that is I deem most certainly accordingly priced!
