This is an attractive example of a greyish-silver-coloured- (and/or typical steel-based and being of the scarcely seen so-called: 'crank-catch-variant'-pattern) HJ (ie. 'Hitlerjugend') belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss nach Vorschrift des RJF') being a neatly maker- (ie. 'RzM M4/42'-) marked example that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem never or just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The buckle is as stated above neatly 'RzM M4/42'-marked (on the back within the 'Raute'-area) and truly retains most of its silverish-coloured finish but does show some (truly minimal) signs of having been stored ie. preserved for years: the overall detail, however, is truly stunning and naturally fully present. The piece was never cleaned and still shows some dust and/or staining as acquired over the years. This example orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example came with a glued-on 'RzM'-etiket on its back (something that might have been done post-war). Simply a very attractive example of a youth-related buckle of the scarcely seen 'crank-catch-variant'-pattern that is priced according to its desirability and comparative scarcity!
