Attractive - and actually quite rarely encountered! - bright-golden-toned- and/or (typical) steel-based, WH 'Kriegsmarine'-belt-buckle being a non-marker-marked example that comes in a wonderful condition
The neat and truly bright- (ie. 'matted') golden-toned and (unusually!) steel-based WH 'Kriegsmarine'- ie. naval belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Kriegsmarine') was with certainty issued and/or used as such but retains nevertheless most of its typical bright- and/or golden-toned finish: some minimal wear, age and/or minimal 'finish-loss' is present simply caused by decades of storage ie. handling and/or fair wear and/or usage. The piece is still a bit dusty but was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and comes as found. The buckle is a non-maker-marked example that shows a fully functional 'catch'-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). For (by me) unclear reasons rank these original, neatly golden-toned KM-buckles amongst the more rarely TR-buckles to be encountered to date: something that explains their desirability and/or fairly high asking-prices. I deem that I have priced this attractive - albeit used but rarely seen - 'variant-pattern' naval example, accordingly!
