Stunning - smaller-sized- and pre-war-period! - so-called: SA (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') copper- (ie. 'brass'-) based 'miniature' belt-buckle that comes in a very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condtion
This is a very attractive - albeit unmarked and/or smaller-sized - example of a pre-war-period, so-called: SA (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') typical copper- (ie. 'brass'-) based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss') being a 'variant'-pattern- (ie. 'two-pieced'-type) example showing a separately attached 'front-plate' and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never used- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The buckle - having a 'rounded-styled' swastika-device - only shows some dust and/or staining as acquired over the years: it came still packed into its period piece of thin-shaped 'wrapping-paper' (something that is NOT often observed). The buckle is of the smaller-sized, 'variant'-pattern- (ie. 'two-pieced'-construction) and was never cleaned nor polished. The smaller-sized buckle (only measuring 5,3 x 3,8 cms.) is, however, void of any makers'-mark or logo (as is more often encountered) and shows nice and/or pronounced detail (it is still a bit dusty as found and comes as stored for decades). The piece orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive example of a truly mint/unissued 'variant-pattern', smaller-sized SA-belt-buckle that is priced according to its stunning and/or fully untouched, condition!
