Attractive, 2-pieced WH (Heeres o. KM) medal-bar-set (ie. 'Orden- o. Doppelspange-Satz') showing resp. a: 'WH DA für 4 Jahre t.D.' and a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal)

This is an attractive, 2-pieced WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine) medal-bar-set (ie. 'Orden- o. Doppelspange-Satz') comprising of a medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') and accompanying 'Feld- o. Bandspange' ie. ribbon-bar) showing respectively a: 'WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine) Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: army-loyal-service medal for four years of loyal service) that comes with a detailed, silver-coloured eagle-device firmly attached and a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal) both awards (and ribbon-bar) coming in an overall nice- (and I deem only moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. Both awards are nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: they come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty (ie. used) condition and come naturally mounted on their period ribbons. The loyal-service medal is truly a very nicely preserved example that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: it comes in a minimally tarnished- ie. dusty condition and comes mounted onto its period ribbon that shows a neat eagle-device (period)attached. The attractive and typical golden-bronze-toned: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal) is a nicely preserved 'Buntmetall'-based example. The entire 'Spange' comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and is nicely 'backed' with a piece of darker-blue-coloured wool (as can be seen on the pictures). Both awards were never cleaned nor polished and just show some minimal age, wear and/or staining. The medal-bar-set was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike and was kept as such for decades. Simply an attractive - and truly decorative! - two-pieced, WH (Heeres o. KM) related medal-bar-set ie. 'Doppelspange-Satz' that is most certainly accordingly priced!
