This particular example - being as stated above a (typical) non-maker-marked, bright-silver-toned- and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based piece - has maintained a neat (and typical 'Buntmetall'-like!) age-patina and comes naturally mounted onto its functional (thin-shaped- and/or silver-toned) pin and 'flattened' catch set-up (as is more often seen with pieces by this particular maker). The piece is very detailed and pronounced: it has, however, hardly been used nor worn and truly retains most of its (bright) silver-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows, moreover, still great pronounced detail as to be expected. I deem that this is a typical piece that was produced by - and can be attributed to - the: 'Otto Schickle'-company as was based in the town of Pforzheim. Simply a very attractive - hardly worn and actually fairly rarely seen! - 'hollow-back'-type and/or typical 'Buntmetall'-based specimen that is I deem accordingly priced!
