Attractive, 3-pieced, WWII-period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing the ribbons for an: 'EK II.Kl.', a: WH 'Dienstauszeichnung der 4. Stufe' and a 'Westwall'-medal

This is an attractive 3-pieced, WWII-period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing respectively the ribbons for an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross second class), a: WH (Heeres o. KM) 'Dienstauszeichnung der 4. Stufe' (as was awarded for 4 years of loyal-service) and that shows a silver-toned (albeit tarnished) eagle-device attached and a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal), all three ribbons (and 'Auflage') coming in a wonderful- (and only moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The ribbons are of the regular (ie. smaller), ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1 cms. each (as is more often encountered). The 'Spange' comes in a very nice condition overall and is not 'backed' with a piece of wool but comes mounted onto a metal 'backing-plate' (as more often). The attached (and very detailed!) device shows some minimal age ie. tarnish but has been very nicely preserved. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the EKII ribbon is truly orange-coloured (making this piece - I deem - an early-issued example). This particular example was in my opinion only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply an attractive 'Feld- o. Bandspange' having an desirable combination: great to decorate almost any WWII-tunic!
