This is a very attractive - and most certainly unusually seen! - bright-golden-toned, TR-period shooting-medal (ie. 'Schiessauszeichnung') that is showing on its front a detailed 'Reichsadler'-device and that is entitled: 'Opferschiessen 1935 - Dtsch. Schützenbd. Krs. Lüneburg/Uelzen' and that comes mounted onto its nicely-shaped' (and bright-green-/white-coloured) ribbon and that comes in a most certainly issued- and/or moderately worn, condition. The shooting-award is - I deem - a typical example that was issued by the: 'Deutschen Schützenbund Kreis Lüneburg/Uelzen' and was issued at a locally-held shooting-event that was held in the year 1935. The front of the medal shows a horse surrounded by the text: 'Gau Niedersachsen'. The medal - which is totally void of a makers'-designation as more often - comes naturally mounted onto its (fully functional- and/or totally unaltered-) ribbon that has a (functional) pin- ie. pin-catch set-up in place (as can be seen on the pictures). This attractive example has an approximate diameter of 3,5 cms. and originates from a German private-household and was never before part of a collection. I deem that I did price this attractive (provincial-issued) 'Schiessauszeichnung', accordingly!
