Neat, N.S.K.V.- (ie. 'Nationalsozialistischer Kriegsopferversorsung'-) related 'tinnie' being a non-maker-marked example showing the N.S.K.V.-logo, sunburst and text that reads: 'Fahnenweihe N.S.K.V. - Okt. 1933'
The attractive - and fairly early-period! - golden-bronze-toned day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is (I deem) executed in copper-coloured and so-called tin-based- (ie. pot-) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has presumably never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, somewhat tarnished age-patina). The shield-shaped badge has a functional pin-/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains most of its golden-bronze-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows the typical N.S.K.V.-logo, sunburst and text that reads: 'Fahnenweihe N.S.K.V. - Okt. 1933 - Kreis Düsseldorf-Mettmann'. The piece - which is executed in copper- (ie. bronze-) toned 'pot-metal' - comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin/catch set-up and has a nice somewhat sub-dued age-patina. Simply an attractive - and actually not often encountered! - early-period, N.S.K.V.- (ie. 'Nationalsozialistischer Kriegsopferversorsung'-) related related tinnie that is I deem accordingly priced!
