Superb example of an (I deem early- ie. mid-war-pattern) 'SS'- (ie. 'Waffen-SS'-) so-called: 'RzM-style'-collar-tab as was intended for usage within the: '3. This is a very attractive example of an (I deem early- ie. mid-war-pattern) 'SS'- (ie. 'Waffen-SS'-) so-called: 'RzM-style'-collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Mannschaften u. Unterführer der Waffen-SS') depicting the horizontally-mounted deaths-head ie. skull as was specifically intended for usage by the various soldiers (and/or NCO) serving within the: '3. SS-Panzer-Division' “Totenkopf” and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem simply never worn- nor tunic-attached- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The neat piece was I deem never tunic-attached and shows a 'standard-pattern'- and/or white-coloured (ie. 'buckram'-based) 'backing' that shows some minimal damage (as can be seen on the pictures). The tab - which is executed in the fairly 'smooth-type'- (ie. so-called 'moleskin'-type) wool shows some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage only. The piece shows the white-coloured stitching on its back (as can be noticed on the pictures). This collar-tab is a 100% text-book- (and as stated above) original example that originates from a US-veteran who 'liberated' this piece in the Dachau clothing-depots in 1945. Simply a very attractive and 100% guaranteed original TK-tab that is almost impossible to upgrade and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
