Attractive, WWI-pattern, silver-class (ie. 'Eisenblech versilbertes') naval wound-badge (ie.: 'Verwundetenabzeichen der Marine 1918 in Silber') being a detailed (and typical magnetic) example that comes in a moderately used condition
This is a very attractive - albeit just moderately used- ie. worn - example of a WWI-pattern, silver-class (ie. 'Eisenblech versilbertes') naval wound-badge (ie.: 'Verwundetenabzeichen der Marine 1918 in Silber') being a detailed (and typical magnetic) example that comes in a moderately used- ie. most certainly worn, condition. The (magnetic- and/or 'Eisenblech'-based wound-badge - which is an unmarked version as is more often encountered with this type of WBs - only shows moderate usage, wear and/or age but retains most of its silver-coloured (ie. frosted) finish: it is, moreover, a tiny bit (rust)stained (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge, which comes naturally mounted onto its functional, regular-sized (and also magnetic) pin and that has an undamaged and/or: functional catch (ie. set-up), still retains fine and/or pronounced detail (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece originates from a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply an attractive and original WWI-period, naval silver-class specimen that is priced according to its overall nice- and/or fully untouched, condition!
